Lesson 101: Getting Yourself The Right Name

The biggest managers, rockstars and their image makers all over the world share a common secret amongst them and that's picking the right name to communicate your music to the masses, to make you sound different from the other artists. If you think you knew the true name of your favorite rockstar thenk THINK AGAIN!

In this page you can check some real artist names over their nicnames:)

A Rockstar Wannabe...

Imagine living in a country where being an infamous musician is considered an equivalent for the word loser. How about adding to the previous idea a reality where only higly acquainted persons make it to stardom and that no matter how famous you may become you can never get to superstardom - nor become known to the world - even if you songs may be written in a universal language - such as English! That country is Greece!

Yep...that's true. The country which once gave birth to culture, who bore philosofers like Socrates, leaders like Pericles and musicians like Orpheus, the same country to be the first to promote the arts in the ancient world is now one of it's biggest enemies in the modern.

My name's Kay - my friend call me like that and I am a 23 years old Greek singer/composer/screenwriter. That's not what I studied though (as my parents wouldn't approve it). So, typically I am a computer systems engineer with a respectable place in a multinational telecommunications company - but when the day's over I just forget about my everyday routine and you can find me on the nightclub nearby singing my guts out with my band. Here's a video about me:)

The Song Presented In The Final Part Of The Video is Antonis Karagiannis (lyrics & music) and it's called "You Re Down" - part of a rehearshal I've done with my former band.
Once upon a time I wanted to be a skater (silly me - wasn't good enough) - so I decided back then I would fit better in the role of a rockstar... When you are 15 everything seems sooo easy - thus I just expected everyone would approve my talent and I would have signed up with a recording company by 18 - making the world better with my music and what I had to give! But that of course shall remain a teenager's dream...

I live in Greece and I love living in it but i feel that if i stay here for another 2 years or so then my chance to show what I've got will be lost forever and the ears of the people shall remain safe :)

I wanna be a Rockstar - a real one - motivating people with my music and my style - maybe making some younger kids out there follow their own dream to superstardom.

I don't know what someone should do to make it till there but I could try to share my own experiences from that journey...and maybe someday you'll read I made it:)
